A note to thank you all for your wonderful care, from the front desk to everyone in the clinic the experience couldn’t be better. You have achieved professionalism but with a personal touch that makes the visits so much more enjoyable. Keep doing the great work that you all do!

Dear Dr. Vaisman,
I am writing to tell you how wonderful you and all of your staff are. I have been your patient for many years and every time I visit your office, everyone is so caring, polite and that makes it a very pleasant office visit. I thank you very much.

Dear Dr. Vaisman,
Words cannot be put into a sentence on how grateful I am, a well as my family to you. Over the past 6 years of seeing you, my back and leg pain has been under control. As each year goes on, it seems that I have gotten worse, but you keep on changing the procedures and making me better. I had not been able to stand on my legs for months and with the last procedure you did, I can now walk again.
You have also been there when my wife hurt her neck and my son ruptured his disc. With your hands of gold you also made them better. Thanks for everything and always being there when needed.

Dear Dr. Vaisman and Dr. Ordia,
I just wanted to share my great news with the both of you. I had my original neurostimulator implant in July of 2003. My battery replacement was done in December, 2004. I now have almost complete pain control. The best news is I have successfully weaned off of all pain medications completely! I am only taking over the counter Motrin for occasional discomfort! I thought you would both like to know of my progress. I can’t thank you both enough!
After 6 years I have my life back!

It has been a year since our mother opened the door of the Clinic and was greeted by Angela. Her reassuring and kind words from day one gave us hope. The experience of coming to Dr. Vaisman’s Clinic was very different from what we had before.
There is much public discussion of health care quality these days, but we care about it much more, when our loved ones get sick. We frantically looked for “the best” doctor, hospital and treatment. Living in Boston area, we tend to assume that the best are to be found in the large teaching hospitals. For almost 10 years my now 85-year- old mother has suffered from severe chronic back pain. She spent hours in waiting rooms of other pain clinics. The visits were short, the bedside manner curt, and the treatment the same: increasing doses of opiates (oxycontin, morphine), despite increasing side effects and no relief. A discussion of newer treatment methods, such as intrathecal pump, was dismissed. Fortunately, there is a world outside the ivory tower, and in it we found relief for my mother. Dr. Vaisman and Dr. Ordia of the Pain and Wellness Clinic in Peabody listened carefully and with sympathy considered all options and provided effective treatment for my mother’s pain. It is remarkable that these doctors can combine high quality cutting edge treatment with the kindness and compassion that we could not find elsewhere. Karen never failed to spend as much time as my mother needed not only providing her with highly skilled care but also just listening to her complaints. Thank you for your patience.
At this special time of the year, we want to wish you all: the people who we get to see when we are in the office and the ones that are invisible to the patients, but help to make the office the state of the art clinic that it is.
I hope my letter of gratitude to these doctors and their staff will help others looking for help.

Most recently, I have started work with Scott in Physical Therapy. I have found Scott’s positive approach to his work, his commitment to his patients, to have actually rubbed off on me, in a good way. Although I don’t ever feel I’ll be without pain, working with Scott has made me see, for the first time in quite some time, that by working with a care provider, whose approach to his work goes beyond time spent together, can assist, even someone like myself who has suffered with pain these last 23 years. I wake up in the morning, wanting to stretch. I do believe that I can make aspects of my life better. Scott has shown me that pain relief can be achieved. I can’t remember when I stood so tall before. I always felt hunched over. I will let my associates know about the great care I received at your center, and please acknowledge a great and positive employee.

I have been coming to the Pain and Wellness Center for some time, and continue to do so. I continue to believe that the Center can assist me in making the quality of my life better.
