Erica Killeen, RN, BSN is an accomplished surgical services leader with more than 18 years of leadership experience with direct perioperative nursing care. Beginning her career as a Medical Assistant she quickly realized her role in patient care. She went to get her ASN and became an Operating Room nurse. She has advanced through leadership roles including Nurse Manager, Associate Administrator to staff nurse and most recently, Director of Nursing at New England Pain Center.

Originally from Westerly, Rhode Island, a small seacoast town on the border of Connecticut, Erica grew up on the ocean and waterways, boating, fishing and clamming. After raising children, she began a new chapter of her life, she found herself relocating with her husband in 2016 to the seacoast of New Hampshire. Where she quickly became a member of their small community. Her and her husband have a German Shepard named Shado who takes up most of their afternoons with play and walks. She is an avid gardener and loves spending time with her grand-daughter Charlotte.

She has overseen large multidisciplinary teams of more than 75 staff members, in perioperative departments including OR, PACU, PAT, Endoscopy, CSD, and SDC, in the hospital field as well as ASC’s. Through her career she led benchmarking initiatives that significantly improved operational performance and patient safety outcomes. Her clinical foundation includes extensive experience in perioperative services, orthopedic, general, cataracts, ob-gyn, pain management and medical-surgical nursing.

She holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Community College of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New England Institute of Technology. She is certified in BLS, ACLS, and CNOR.
