Joe Ordia, MD

Dr Ordia is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon. He joined the Pain and Wellness Center in 2004.

After completing his residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital, he served as Clinical Instructor in Surgery, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. He was promoted to Professor of Neurosurgery at Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Ordia is a respected and internationally known expert in the field of neuro-modulation (implantable devices for management of pain and spasticity).

Dr Ordia is an accomplished teacher and researcher and has published in many prestigious professional journals.

Dr. Ordia loves sports and is a non-card-carrying member of Red Sox Nation. He also likes to write, as long as he has a computer. He has written a children's book, and is presently working on a blockbuster book which he expects to be published next year.
