Jessica McEwen, LMT, NCTM, Massage Therapist
Jessica joined the Pain and Wellness Center in 2007.
She is nationally certified in therapeutic massage, after graduating from the Spa Tech Institute in Ipswich. She holds an Associate degree in the science of early childhood education from North Shore Community College.
Jessica continues to enhance her skills and education in massage therapy and other bodywork modalities. She has particular interest in Craniosacral Therapy, a light hands-on technique that assists in pain relief and deep relaxation. She developed her expertise in this field at the Upledger Institute.
Through her training experience, Jessica has developed a unique style of relaxation and therapeutic techniques, based on Swedish and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.
Jessica is a highly motivated therapist, who enjoys listening to her clients in order to obtain the full picture of their physical health and in order to highly individualize each treatment session to meet the client's needs. Her goals are to help alleviate symptoms of chronic pain and to restore the sense of connection with one's own body.
Jessica is also skilled in pregnancy massage, hot stone massage and reflexology treatments.
