Pain
and Wellness Center's training is unlike the typical gym. In fact, we
don't offer ordinary fitness regimens. We offer scaleable workouts regardless
of your background. Olympic lifting, plyometrics, kettlebell work and
bodyweight exercises will rekindle your ability to use your joints and
rebuild mobility that you may have thought you lost due to age. Have
you ever seen children jumping over obstacles and thought to yourself,
I could never do that? You should be asking at what point did you stop
using your natural abilities to jump and run! In all of our workouts
there will be an experienced trainer to teach you the fundamentals and
build on proper movements. Based on your commitment, the results will
be amazing. Train for the unknown, train for the unseen and the unpredictable
event that lies in front of you in your daily life. Functional movement
allows you to complete any physical task in the most efficient way with
a decreased chance of injury. You are in charge of how your body moves,
and must develop the ability to control your body in changing movement
pathways while lifting numerous objects from different and sometimes
odd positions. Also important is the ability to correct muscular and
flexibility imbalances, and to exert force with correct posture, timing
and control. All of these skills combined comprise your ability to move
functionally, which is paramount to living a better life.
